Our Company

Grants Europe Consulting Ltd was founded by Hen Gerritse and Eszter Kostenszky in 2008 to respond to the increasing need for specialised consultancies able to provide premium services in accessing EU funding programmes. Following the expansion of the company, Eszter Héjj and Twan de Bruijn joined the company ownership, and together with smaller shareholders, are working closely in managing a strong team of over 20 staff members and experts.

Grants Europe is a values-driven business. We pride ourselves on our great people, senior consultants with years of experience in EU affairs and our team of bright young professionals. Our international team is proficient in several European languages: a.o. English, Dutch, Hungarian, French, German, Italian, Romanian. Our consultants and experts have a diverse background in, among others, Economics, Regional Policy, Law, Social Studies, International Relations and Geography.

We bridge regional and European policies and associated funding programmes with clients’ needs to maximise funding opportunities. Our business covers the whole project cycle linked to EU funding, from the initial project idea to the submission of applications, project start-up and implementation support, as well as providing thematic expertise and supporting communication. We work with clients from all over Europe, representing both the public and private sector. We have achieved a solid track record with an average of 80% success rate in territorial cooperation types of projects that make up the core of our project portfolio. At the EU Programme level, some of our senior consultants have also been involved in the development of ERDF Programmes for both the current and previous funding periods, and are certified programme experts, e.g. in the URBACT Programme.
