INTERREG IVC Programme now evaluating „Health4Growth” „Renergy”, „AT FORT” and „D-AIR” project proposals. Health strategy, economical viability of cultural heritage sites, green urban & airport environment are our lately investigated project themes submitted to the Programme’s last call.

The 4th call for proposals of the INTERREG IVC Programme closed on 1st April 2011. The objective of the Programme is to improve the effectiveness of regional policies and instruments in the EU 27. Projects build on the exchange of experiences among partners who are ideally responsible for the development of their local and regional policies and are developed under the coordination of a “Lead partner”. Project partners cooperate to identify and transfer good practices, possible outcomes include e.g. case study collections, policy recommendations, strategic guidelines or action plans.

Grants Europe Consulting, in cooperation with its strategic partner, HBH Euroconsulting, has developed, upon assignments received from its clients, Lead Partners, four projects submitted to the last call:

- The „Health4Growth” project, developed for our Hungarian client, the Municipality of Debrecen, wishes to pave the way to the development of a long-term local “health strategy” and will analyse the factors and core parameters of a successful development of the health sector, based on the knowledge and experience of the international partners. The project is led by Hungary’s 2nd largest city, Debrecen, and associates the cooperation of its University.

- „RENERGY” project has been developped under the command of the Italian city of Potenza to create effective and strategic approach of local and regional sustainable energy policies by creating a “green urban environment”: better conditions for investments in Green Economy, through international cooperation, by sharing each partner’s added value and experience in the field. The project has been developed with the involvement of the Hungarian Municipality of Szentes, as a partner.

- Upon assignment of the project’s Lead Partner, New Dutch Waterline, AT FORT – „Atelier European Fortresses – Powering Local Sustainable Development” project has been developed with the view to enhance the preservation, maintenance and operation of the European fortified heritage sites by facilitating their adaptive re-use. The project proposes exploring solutions for successful approaches and creating better frameworks for their exploitation with the involvement of actors of the local economy and of local networks, largely including SMEs.

- D-AIR project, developped for our client, the Muncipality of Einhoven, drives at converting airports into ecological sustainable transport hubs. The project focuses on aspects of airport operations of the competence of public authorities and public bodies: achieve CO2 neutrality of airport operators’ activities and sustainable accessibility of airport zones with the involvement of business and R&D institutions in creating well connected green airport regions.

Your Portal to European Funding

We are here to assist you in accessing EU funds for your project. Our service range is wide spanning the entire project cycle from its initial development to its implementation and evaluation.

It is a true challenge to find the way among all available EU funds. There are several new appearing every year. Choosing the right one, especially for complex projects eligible for several funds can be a demanding, high-engineering exercise. There are rules on state aid to be considered, programme manuals restricting combinations of EU funds to be considered and eligibility rules to be checked. Moreover, the various funds have different objectives, time spans provide different degrees of funding (ranging from 50-100%).

The EU is becoming increasingly strict in choosing winning projects and there are many conditions to be checked off to deliver a successful project, attention needs to be paid to whether the project is really bringing added value to partners and the target audience, builds on existing and past projects, is sustainable after project expiry and links on to EU policy priorities.

Grants Europe is a member of the European Affairs Alliance (EAA). This Alliance also comprises HitesyBartuczHollai Euroconsulting and EU-Liaison.
