Margaréta Serfőző is working for Grants Europe as an international senior project development assistant. She has a strong European academic background. After a school year in France, (Paris) where she studied French literature and culture she acquired her BA in law at EPHEC (Ecole Pratique des Haute Etudes Commerciales) in Brussels. She continued her studies at the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and at the University of Granada in Spain and earned her MA degree in Political Science with Comparative European Studies specialization. Currently she is continuing her PhD dissertation in political science.

Margaréta’s professional background includes traineeships at ADDE (Association pour le Droit des Etrangers) where she treated immigration, humanitarian law, and international private law related issues and at the representation of Budapest Municipality in Brussels where she dealt with EU fund monitoring. She participated in a political marketing project for the University of Granada, analyzing Spanish political campaigns. She has been an external contributor/intern for the Belgian platform for Population and Development, elaborating lobby and efficiency development strategies. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish, she has basic knowledge of German, Russian and Dutch.
