Eszter Kostenszky and Hen Gerritse founded Grants Europe in 2008 with the aim of working together on European cooperation programmes and bring their knowledge and experience also to the CENTRAL European region. As the managing director of Grants Europe, Eszter is involved both in overall company management and in project related consultancy work.
Eszter is in particular specialised in the development and financial planning of projects under Programmes such as INTERREG, URBACT, IEE as well as Objective 1 Funding schemes. Eszter has also gained experience in the implementation, i.e. content and administrative management, of projects in various fields ranging from innovation, environment to urban development. Over the years, she acquired thorough knowledge on the Funding schemes and procedures as well as on the relevant European policies.
Eszter has a strong European profile reflected both in her professional and academic background. Having acquired her first MA at the Budapest University of Economics with a specialisation on European Integration, she gained a scholarship to follow the prestigious MA course “Advanced European Multidisciplinary Studies” at the College of Europe (Brugge-Warsaw).
Her professional background includes European project developer and manager positions for a Dutch consultancy, Haute-Europe in Brussels and at HBH Euroconsulting in Budapest and traineeship at the EU Department of a leading Hungarian bank.
